ECU RECOVERY AFTER UNSUCCESSFUL REFLASHING. VOLVO/RENAULT/MACK 2004-2013
Description
DESCRIPTION
You or somebody else who has broken the ECU during reprogramming via PTT ECU can still be seen in the list but doesn’t contain any identifying data.
Attempt to reprogram it by original software fails before programming starts.
How to do:
- Make an order for this service. Then, in the “Comments” field, tell us the planned time of connection.
- Complete payment steps and ensure that your order has “Paid” status.
- You will receive an email message with the engineer’s contact data.
- Inform the engineer that it’s time to start reprogramming. Please don’t touch anything that can interfere until the engineer says “Done.”
- Once the operation is completed, check that no one emission-related code is active. Then, you may use the truck’s info display or PTT2 software (if you have it).
System requirements:
- Laptop/PC/VM with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10
- Communication adapter: 88890020, VoCom or ANY RP1210C (Nexiq USB-Link, Noregon DLA , DPA5, Inline6, etc)
- TeamViewer or any remote control programs
- PTT 2.0...
If you don’t have anything from this list? Inform to engineer. He has it!
Warranty cases are:
- Aftertreatment-related fault code appears during the truck usage period.
- The after-treatment-related message is shown on the display
- Torque derate caused by after-treatment fault codes
Non-warranty cases are:
- ECU replacement (different ECU serial numbers detected than stored into the database during reprogramming)
- Cracking/readout attempts detected (different fingerprint is stored into ECU)
